Same fee stack as the Amazon FBA calculator, trimmed to fees only. Use it when you already know cost elsewhere, or when you want a clean referral vs fulfillment split without a profit headline stealing the screen.

When to use — and when not to

When to use

Explaining fees to a partner; exporting a fee split into your own sheet; comparing two weights before you redesign packaging.

When not to

Full product go/no-go with COGS → Amazon FBA calculator or Amazon FBA profit calculator.

Assumptions

Same rate tables as the FBA main page. Storage optional line. No ad spend by default.

Worked examples

$40 item, 15% referral, fulfillment $5.80

Referral $6.00 + fulfillment $5.80 = $11.80 fees (29.5% effective before storage)

Add $0.40 storage allocation

Fees $12.20

Storage is monthly — allocate honestly per unit sold.

How it calculates

referral + fulfillment + other (+ ads if entered)

Stack the fee lines, then read payout (and profit when costs are entered).

  1. Enter price and referral %.
  2. Set fulfillment estimate.
  3. Add storage/other if you allocate it.
  4. Read fee lines and effective fee %.

Common traps

  • Effective fee % looks better on high prices and worse on cheap heavy goods.
  • Closing fees on media categories are easy to forget — use Other.
  • Surcharges may sit inside fulfillment in our stub.
  • We do not scrape ASINs.

FAQ

Roughly: referral percent of price, plus fulfillment from your size/weight tier, plus any storage/other or ads you enter. Our fulfillment field is a stub you edit — Amazon’s Fee Preview is the authoritative size-tier source.
