Amazon profit calculator
Profit needs cost. This page stacks FBA-style fees, then subtracts COGS and inbound per unit so you see margin before you buy inventory. Same family as the FBA profit calculator - Amazon profit wording for that SERP.
Estimate only — not your seller payout.
When to use — and when not to
When to use
Restock decision; comparing two suppliers; amazon profit calculator search.
When not to
Fee-only without COGS → amazon-fee-calculator. Revenue wording without cost focus → amazon-fba-revenue-calculator.
Assumptions
Referral stub + fulfillment stub; COGS and inbound editable; ads optional.
Worked examples
$24 price, $3.5 fulfill, $9 COGS, $1.2 inbound
Profit ≈ $6.70 before ads
Same with 8% ads
Ads cut ≈ $1.92 more from the stack
How it calculates
payout = price − referral − fulfillment − ads − other profit = payout − cogs − inbound
Stack the fee lines, then read payout (and profit when costs are entered).
- Enter the sale price and any buyer-paid shipping that applies.
- Confirm or override the rate defaults for your case.
- Add ads, storage, or costs only when they apply.
- Read the fee stack - estimate only, not the marketplace payout screen.
Common traps
- Returns and removals are outside this estimate.
- Inbound is not referral.
- Fee Preview still owns fulfillment truth.

FAQ
It is unit planning profit from the fees and costs you enter — not a full P&L with returns, removals, or corporate overhead. Good for restock screens; not a substitute for bookkeeping.
