Amazon FBA cost calculator
Cost-side sellers care about landed cost plus marketplace take. This page opens profit fields and a storage/other line so you can pressure-test whether a wholesale buy still clears fees. High CPC intent - still not Fee Preview.
Estimate only — not your seller payout.
When to use — and when not to
When to use
Vendor quote review; including estimated monthly storage; cost-focused FBA search.
When not to
Simple fee-only → fba-fee-calculator. Pure referral table → amazon-referral-fee-calculator.
Assumptions
Profit mode on; storage/other field shown; US referral stub default.
Worked examples
$30 price, $4 fulfill, $2 storage, $10 COGS, $1 inbound
Fees ≈ $4.50+$4+$2; profit after landed ≈ $8.50 before ads
Drop storage to $0
Shows how storage alone moves the margin
How it calculates
landed = cogs + inbound fees = referral + fulfillment + storage_other + ads profit = price − fees − landed
Stack the fee lines, then read payout (and profit when costs are entered).
- Enter the sale price and any buyer-paid shipping that applies.
- Confirm or override the rate defaults for your case.
- Add ads, storage, or costs only when they apply.
- Read the fee stack - estimate only, not the marketplace payout screen.
Common traps
- Storage is seasonal - your number, not a hidden Amazon pull.
- COGS mistakes dominate fee mistakes.
- Not accounting software.

FAQ
Marketplace fees you model (referral, fulfillment, optional storage/ads) plus COGS and inbound per unit you enter. Labor, returns, and removals are outside unless you fold them into those fields.
